Instructions

  • In a bowl mix the water with the yeast and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  • Add the flour ½ cup at a time  then knead the dough.
  • Form a ball, cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  • Divide it into 2 balls then form the shape of the pretzel with each one.
  • In boiling water, salt and baking soda, dip each piece for 1 minute maximum.
  • Transfer to a baking pan and  bake them on 200 C for 30 minutes then sprinkle with zaatar.
