Your body holds wisdom your mind sometimes forgets.
When I feel anxious, scattered, or disconnected I pause for a somatic reset.
My 2-Minute Somatic Check-In:
- Step 1: Hand on heart. One on belly. Feel the rise and fall of your breath.
- Step 2: Inhale through your nose for 4 counts. Hold for 4. Exhale slowly through your mouth for 6. Repeat 3x.
- Step 3: Gently scan your body. Ask: Where am I holding tension? Can I soften my jaw, my shoulders, my stomach?
This is my nervous system’s “reset button.”
