Ingredients for 4 people:
- 300g self raising flour
- 100g cane sugar
- 1tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 1/2 tbsp orange blossom water
- 1/2 tbsp rose water
- 3 eggs
- pinch of sea salt
- 150g butter or olive oil
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease and line the cake tin with butter/oil.
- In a large bowl, whisk the butter with the eggs and sugar till really fluffy and lighter in color.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and continue mixing until fully incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to the cake tin and put in the oven for 35 minutes.
Pair it with coconut whipped cream with a dash of cardamon
