Delicious!
I’m in my 50’s, so I need more protein to maintain muscle mass, but I also need to cut down on calories to keep from gaining weight. That was a difficult feat until I found David bars. They provide an excellent source of protein without the high carbs or calories, and they are incredibly delicious. I love the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, the Cake Batter, and Fudge Brownie.

Great taste, incredible macros
I have tried almost every protein bar on the market (which has made me very skeptical of taste especially of bars with macros this good). It's my new go to bar, they're really good and I'm excited to try the other flavors.

Great bar
Love the macro profile and the taste and texture. Usually bars with this much protein are like chewing shoe leather. Not to mention all the sugars that get added. Love both this and the chocolate fudge.

Awesome
I’ve tried basically all protein bars including homemade ones. It’s great we have so many choices. This however is the best when you consider taste, texture, macro profiles and quality of ingredients. Pretty much only eating these now.

FAQs
Why protein?
Protein intake is the foundational of nutrition for 3 key reasons:

(1) to increase or maintain muscle and lean mass for optimal functioning now and to avoid injury or weakness as you age.
(2) to properly regulate caloric intake, thus helping to avoid excess body fat and manage metabolic health,
(3) to support essential bodily functions as protein pays a key role in healthy bones, muscles, skin, hair, nails, and joints.
