As we get older, the lower oesophageal sphincter, the muscle which closes off passage between the oesophagus and stomach, loses its tone. Gastric reflux, which causes burning sensations in the stomach, therefore become more frequent. Burning sensations occur because the oesophagus does not have the protection it needs to resist the acidic contents of the stomach. It is important to prevent prolonged exposure of the oesophagus to these acidic substances in order to avoid any complications.
PROBIOBOOST® Gastric comfort combines a lactic ferment strain, Lactobacillus reuteri (PylopassTM), with dandelion root extract.
Pylopass™, the patented strain of Lactobacillus reuteri, has featured in numerous studies. It is stable in the stomach and does not disrupt the intestinal flora. It is guaranteed non-allergenic and does not contain any GMOs, dairy by-products (lactose and milk proteins) or gluten, and is suitable for vegetarians.
Dandelion root helps to preserve the physiological pH balance in the stomach thanks to its antacid action, which promotes good gastric comfort. It contains numerous active ingredients such as inulin, polyphenols and triterpenes, etc.
