Simple shifts that made my nights (and mornings) so much better.
I used to scroll in bed, overthink, and wake up groggy. Once I started winding down with a few small rituals, my sleep quality totally transformed.
1. Blue Light Cut-Off
I dim the lights and avoid screens an hour before bed. Sometimes I’ll switch to a book or journal. It helps my body know it’s time to rest.
2. Magnesium Moment
I sip warm water with magnesium powder or eat a magnesium-rich snack (pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate). It relaxes my muscles and calms my mind.
3. Stretch & Breathe
Just 5 minutes of stretching or deep breathing signals my nervous system to slow down.
4. Gratitude List
I write down 3 things I’m grateful for. It keeps my mind from spiraling and helps me fall asleep with a smile.
Now I wake up feeling lighter and more rested — no miracle pill, just small shifts.
