The diet that is built into our genes

The diet that is built into our genes

The Paleo diet or Stone Age diet represents our ancestors’ lifestyle that was based on food that is hunted or gathered. It includes lean animal meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds and excludes food that were included in the humans diet when farming emerged: dairy products, legumes and grains.

The Difference between Paleo and Low-Carb diets:
The difference between paleo and low-carb diet is in:
-The quality and the quantity of fat.
-The long term health repercussion

In fact, if you're on a paleo diet, you need:
-19-35% of protein
-22-40% of carbohydrates
-28-47% of fat
And when you're on a low-carb diet, you need:
-18-23% of protein
- 4-26% of carbohydrates
-51-78% of fat
Low-carb diets are really high in fat: people consume fatty , salty processed meats (bacon, sausage, hot dogs...) and dairy products while restricting veggies and fruits.
Let's not forget that low carb diets help accomplish rapid weight loss but it's for a short term and at the expense of  health and wellbeing.
