  • Ingredients that you should keep on hand:

Sea salt: it acts as an exfoliator. It's the perfect base for all your DIY scrubs.

Naturalia Brown sugar: it helps in removing dead skin cells.

Cocomi Coconut oil : You’ll need a soothing oil, like coconut, olive, almond.

Potion Kitchen Lavender Essential oil: it adds a relaxing aroma to your at-home spa experience.

Loose leaf tea: try adding loose leaf tea like Jasmin, Earl Grey, black tea. Loose leaf tea acts as an exfoliator.

 

  • DIY scrub recipes

Making your own DIY body scrub is so easy as you probably have all the needed ingredients in your pantry.

Relaxing Lavender Scrub Recipe

This scrub is relaxing, it soothes the skin and helps in exfoliation.

Ingredients

2 cups sea salt

1 cup of Cocomi coconut oil

20 to 30 drops Potion Kitchen Lavender Essential Oil

Instructions

In a bowl, add the salt and the coconut oil.  Add enough essential oil until you achieve the scent you want. Use immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container for 1 whole week.

 

Lemon Body Scrub

Lemon is a fragrant ingredient that goes a long way, especially when combined with coarse sea salt and soothing coconut oil.

Ingredients

2 cups Sea Salt

1 cup Cocomi coconut oil

¼ cup lemon juice

Instructions

Stir all ingredients in a mixing bowl until combined. Use immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container for 1 whole week.

 

Coffee Body Scrub

The next time you brew coffee, save the grounds for this three-ingredient scrub. 

Ingredients

½ cup Cocomi coconut oil

½ cup coffee grounds

1 to 2 tsp of Virgo olive oil

Instructions

Combine coconut oil and coffee grounds in a small bowl. Stir in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, adding more as needed until your desired consistency is reached. Use immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container for one week.

 

Jasmine Tea Body Scrub

For calming the mind and soothing the skin

Ingredients:

1 tbsp brewed Jasmin tea

1 cup Naturalia brown sugar

2 tbsp Cocomi coconut oil

1/2 tbsp J Grove honey

Contents of 4 Jasmin tea bags

 

Instructions:

Brew a cup of jasmine green tea. Set aside 1 tbsp in a container and let cool(drink the rest!)

Place sugar in a small bowl, then stir in cooled tea, coconut oil, honey, and contents of green tea bags.

  

Cinnamon Sugar Lip Scrub

This can definitely be your new favorite lip scrub , it will leave your lips moisturized.

Ingredients:

6 tsp of Naturalia brown sugar
3 tsp of J Grove honey
3 tsp of Cocomi coconut oil
1 ½ tsp of LivGood Cinnamon

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a glass container and keep sealed in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. To use, massage onto clean lips for one minute before gently wiping clean with a damp cloth.
