Traditional Japanese seasoning, reported to date back to the Edo Period in the 1600s. It is growing in popularity around the world for its very unique flavour profile. Its vinegar-like tanginess adds a rich flavour to a wide variety of dishes including salads, dips, vegetables, dressings, for pickling and even as a secret ingredient in cocktails.
