- 2 cups of milk
- 1.5 cups of sugar
- instant yeast
- 5 cups of flour
- 120g of butter

- In a bowl, mix milk, sugar and yeast and leave for few minutes.
- In another bowl, add the flour, melted butter, baking powder , mahlab and nutmeg.
- Mix everything and knead until you form a dough.
- Leave to rest for 1-2 hours.
- Divide, roll the dough and shape it into small kaek.
- Prepare a mix of egg yolk and vanilla and spread it on the kaek pieces.
