Ingredients:
- 2 cups pitted dates
- 5 pieces apricot (optional for extra sweetness)
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips, or finely chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
- In a food processor, start by blending dates and apricots with oil.
- Next, beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Add all remaining ingredients except the chocolate chips and keep mixing.
- Add the chocolate chips or walnut and mix with hand
- Scoop the dough, then roll it between your hands to form a ball. Flatten it and place it on a baking sheet. Don’t forget to decorate it with some extra chocolate chips
- Bake for around 12-15 minutes
