Detox Day 4: Support Elimination

What is Phase 3?

Phase 3 is where the magic leaves your body (literally). Your liver passes the bound toxins to your colon and kidneys to be excreted through stool, urine, and sweat.

To support this phase, you need:

  • Fiber (chia, flax, beets, veggies)
  • Hydration (herbal tea, water, coconut water)
  • Gut support (fermented foods like sauerkraut)

💡 Goals:

  • Keep things moving (literally)
  • Avoid constipation or bloating
  • Eliminate without reabsorption

🍴Meal Plan:

Morning drink:

  • Warm lemon water with a pinch of pink Himalayan salt (supports bile flow, vitamin C and hydration)
  • Followed by flax seed water: Stir 1 tsp ground flaxseed into ~1/2 cup of water. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes before drinking (this allows the flax to form a gentle gel, which is what helps with binding toxins and supporting elimination).

Breakfast: Cacao Boost Smoothie

  • ½ cup coconut water
  • ½ cup of water
  • ½ cup of blueberries
  • ½ cup of strawberries
  • ¼ cup pineapple
  • ¼ of a cucumber, peeled
  • 1 kale leaf or ½ cup spinach 1 pitted date
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ¼ of an avocado
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Lunch: Veggie and Chicken Collard Wrap

  • 2 large collard green leaves (blanched in boiling water for 30 sec to soften)
  • 100–150g shredded chicken (cooked in olive oil, garlic, lemon, herbs)
  • 1/4 cup roasted carrots
  • 1/4 cup steamed or roasted fennel
  • 1/4 cup steamed beets (great for bile flow + fiber)
  • 1 tbsp sauerkraut (for gut flora)
  • 1/4 sliced avocado
  • Mashed avocado + lemon juice + black pepper

Snack: One Square of Dark Chocolate

Dinner: Modified Tom Yum Soup with Fish
